As a substitute teacher, my priority is to create and nurture a positive (but not compromising) classroom environment that is steeped in Christian values. Experience as a public school teacher, mother of three, and mentor/disciple of young women has taught me patience and relationship building skills necessary for fostering a safe culture that stimulates curiosity, motivates learning, encourages application, and expects accountability. My strong communication skills ensure that every lesson is presented in an engaging manner that inspires students to be active learners. I'm committed to creating a learning space where time, energy, and behaviors are managed effectively so every student has an opportunity for success.
