As an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), the primary responsibility is to provide critical pre-hospital care and assist in emergency department procedures. The EMT will respond to medical emergencies, provide life-saving interventions, and transport patients to the hospital for further treatment while maintaining a high standard of care and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Emergency Response: Respond to emergency calls and transport patients to the hospital, assess the situation, and provide appropriate life-saving interventions.
• Patient Care: Perform basic medical procedures such as CPR, wound care, oxygen administration, and splinting as per medical protocols and under the direction of healthcare providers.
• Collaboration: Work closely with paramedics, nurses, doctors, and other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment.
• Patient Monitoring: Continuously monitor patient vitals, document medical history, and communicate updates on patient status to medical staff upon arrival at the hospital.
• Equipment Handling: Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment, ensuring all tools are properly sanitized and ready for use.
• Patient Advocacy: Maintain clear communication with patients and their families, providing emotional support and ensuring they are informed of the care being provided.
• Documentation: Accurately record all patient interactions, treatments administered, and transport details in compliance with hospital standards and legal requirements.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control standards, and hospital regulations while performing duties in emergency situations.
