OPERATIONAL
Quality control of FM operation, managing complete facilities relates areas, which include MEP and cleaning service contractors, planning, and execution of facilities related project works at Qatar airways Oryx International School.
Periodic performance of Thermographic inspection and PAT Testing works on electrical system at Qatar Airways Commercial building, sales Offices and QDC building to ensure electrical systems for safe and reliable operation by submitting the report with action plan and implementing preventative and corrective maintenance.
Periodic inspection of assigned facilities to determine condition ,preparation of building inspection reports ,diagnose problems and initiates necessary actions to optimize the life span and operational reliability and ensure that the facilities are properly maintained in accordance with the best engineering practices.
Contingency planning for responding emergency situation such as power failures, AC failures, activation of fire alarm or any other facilities related major issues
Communication with relevant shareholders to ensure about the project and contractual works are completed within the set QR timelines and standards
Plan, preparation of scope of work, administrates the work of contracted staff on all facilities related projects, including assigning work, reviewing and evaluating the work progress.
Review request for service, determining whether the problem can be resolved through in-house resources, set priorities/timeline, communicate the timelines to customer and execution of job.
Plan for workforce and material needs for designated maintenance and repair jobs to ensure adequate materials and equipment’s are available to carry out scheduled /unscheduled maintenance task.
Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program as per OEM recommendation for all MEP equipment’s, oversees and participate in the preventative maintenance activity .Maintain data/records relates to PPM and performance monitoring.
Planning, Implementation and Up-gradation of critical equipment’s like UPS power network, modification works and facility amendments to support the 24/7 centralized operational unit and executing the power shutdown works for the project without affecting the business operations including testing and completion of works.
Managing and execution of projects like MV panel modification works like ACB replacement, capacitor bank installation and other electrical installation without affecting business operations and completion of works.
Preparation of Building manual, conducting Electrical inspections at various Qatar airways commercial buildings and submitting reports with action plan

DESIGN OF MICROCONTROLLER BASED SLIP POWER RECOVERY CONTROL OF SLIP-RING INDUCTION MOTOR
ABSTRACT:
The project deals with design of microcontroller based slip power recovery control of slip ring induction motor. The steady state performance analysis of conventional slip power recovery scheme using static line commutated inverter in the rotor circuit is done. Simulation of the scheme is carried out using Mat lab/Simulink environment and experimental set-up is prepared in the laboratory for a 2-hp wound rotor induction motor. The microcontroller used to implement speed and current controllers and generate firing pulses for the line-commutated inverter.
