Selected to serve as a teen ambassador for Cradles to Crayons. Responsibilities included:

• Supported The Giving Factory staff during two volunteer shifts.
• Increased awareness of the Cradles to Crayons mission by hosting a product collection drive.
• Participated in an orientation, leadership development workshop, and gave a wrap-up presentation of my project outcomes.

Selected to be one of six student interns that worked in Watertown's elementary school gardens during the summer break. Responsibilities included:

• Growing and maintaining fruits, vegetables, and other plants
• Participating in educational outings to other garden sites
• Attending sessions with local experts on garden ecology and local environmental issues.
• Successfully completed the 50 hour program.
