This essay won the essay contest, was published in the spring edition of sources, and recorded for the Shalom Hartman podcast.

- Dean's Advisory Award - Theater, Awarded by the Dean of UCLA's School of Theater, Film and Television, specifically awarded to enable the extracurricular study of physical theater.
- Fine Arts Trust Award, Awarded to support deserving and talented art students who are anxious to complete art studies abroad, particularly in Europe. Received $2,000 of funding to research and participate in physical theater studies abroad, specifically with the Laban Conservatory.
