Proven ability to build relationships and support diverse populations, while demonstrating adaptability and strong organizational skills in various volunteer initiatives.
I was a Supplemental Instructor (SI) which is a high-achieving undergraduate selected based on strong academic performance to support student success in challenging college courses. In this role, the SI collaborates with course instructors, attends lectures, and leads regularly scheduled study sessions that reinforce course material through active learning strategies such as problem-solving, review activities, and exam preparation. The SI provides academic guidance, facilitates peer-to-peer discussion, and helps students develop effective study skills while maintaining a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Throughout the years I have volunteered with events like Casa Bonita (painting houses) and helped with Christmas events for the city.
