Summary

I am seeking a full-time position as an elementary school teacher. I establish a classroom community that is safe, respectful, and fun. Students in my class are encouraged to take risks and make mistakes in order to grow and learn. I value and teach students to have integrity and honesty. It is important to highlight and bring in student differences. I encourage all students to embrace challenges and try new things. In order to continue learning and support diverse populations, I have worked to complete my ESL Endorsement Certification, which will be completed for the upcoming school year (25-26).

  • In January of 2025, I took on the role of Team Lead. I lead our weekly team planning meetings, and PLC Data Drives. I represented 3rd grade at ILT meetings.

I student taught at Green Lake Elementary School, Green Lake, WI. My cooperating teacher was Amanda Krejcarek. I began by observing methods and teaching strategies for a third grade classroom that was split during COVID. I participated in parent/teacher conferences. I taught language arts and math in both classrooms due to COVID-19 regulations up until April. After April, the regulations lifted and we returned to one classroom and a normal schedule. I taught all subjects, worked daily with my cooperating teacher to write and create daily lesson plans. I created whole group and partner discussion activities for various subjects. I developed activities to further learning in all subjects. I designed projects to demonstrate student's learning in science and social studies. I provided partner and small group games to work on basic math skills. I spent time conversing with students on various topics of interest as we worked on different skills throughout the semester.

  • Tutored three children ranging from 1st to 5th grade in math and reading

  • We would talk about what they wanted to work on or what they struggled with prior to summer and how we can help improve their skills for the following year, this was done to keep open communication

We follow a motto of being Honorable, Beautiful and Highest., Events are put on to encourage other women to join Greek life and ask any questions they may have, and it also gives everyone a chance to get to know one another better., Every year we raise money for our philanthropies; Prevent Child Abuse America (PCAA) and Girl Scouts of USA, and the locals are Boys and Girls Club of Oshkosh. We want to bring awareness to these organizations in hopes
  • Sisterhood Chair of Kappa Delta, December 2019-December 2020, Created events for members of the sorority to help open more communication between members as well as used for stress reduction., Along with creating events and coordinating with my co-sisterhood chair, the sisterhood chair is made for members to make sure members feel comfortable and included on campus. It is also another line of communication if a member feels otherwise.
