Growing up, I had always struggled with my weight. Steadily gaining between 15-25 lbs per year from the age of 8 and up. In 2018 I found myself to be about 320 lbs, and my joints and self esteem were suffering from the extra weight. Knowing that cancer runs in my family, I decided to take initiative and begin to get my health under control. As I progressed, I developed a passion for resistance training and bodybuilding/functional style of training. Over three years it took to lose 160 lbs, and since then I've been continually developing my skills as a personal trainer through education on my own and working with my clients in-person. Back in 2021 I left my career as a chef and worked a couple of different jobs while pursuing my certification. I hope to be making personal training my full time job within the year.
