I have completed 41 hours of occupational therapy observation hours. I worked in the home health geriatric setting under a private practice occupational therapist. I observed how the patient and therapist would solve problems together to enhance their independent activities of daily living. Some examples are the process of taking a shower, getting dressed and undressed, getting in and out of bed, and other improvements around the house to make these activities easier for the patient.
