I was in a classroom with a headteacher caring for about 10 kids each day. We started with breakfast and play time. We moved on to circle time which taught the kids to sit patiently and still while learning. We sang songs, did the ABCS and read books. More play time, diaper changes, outside time and snack. After preparing their lunch we washed hands, changed more diapers and put them down for nap. After nap was outside time or play time, snack and time to go home! This job taught me how to be patient and understanding.

This was an after school program. I got kids off the bus, helped with homework, engaged in play time and games, watched them outside and helped with bumps and bruises.
