I have worked as a CNA for over a year. I work at a nursing home with many fully dependent residents. Working as a caregiver for the elderly is not an easy task. At this stage of life, many residents have new struggles and need help with either a little or a lot. I have learned so much being a CNA and being able to take care of residents as well as their families is a job that i love. I am surrounded with difficult jobs constantly, whether broken bones, skin tears, losing residents, conflict, dementia, falls, throw up, you name it, I have seen a lot and with this experience I know I can do the job. I have confidence that I do a job and would be fully willing to prove it, if given the opportunity. I care deeply about the quality of care that residents and patients receive. It is so important to me that I do a good job not only for the individual and their family but also for myself. I have been told that I am caring and do my job well, I prioritize my work, the way i treat others, and the person I put forward.
