Lily Malone

At Timber Ridge, I serve and make food for the residents. I currently work in the dementia unit, so I tend to the residents in need as well. I bring the food from the main kitchen into the dementia unit, plate all of the food, make all of the beverages, serve everything, sweep, wipe down the tables, and mop.

While working at Bath and Body Works (a temporary and seasonal job), I gained the attentiveness it takes to care for customers. I’ve also continued my knowledge with cash registers, counting money, mopping, sweeping, organizing the shelves, selling product, and keeping customers coming back!

• Skills I have learned while working at McDonald’s are computer skills, customer service, moving around the store quickly, multitasking, dealing with angry customers in a kind and caring fashion, cleaning up messes and spills, and overall keeping my work family happy!

• As a hostess, I learned how to greet customers with a smile, bring them to their tables, keep an organized and stable work environment, clean, bag items for curbside and doordash, deal with angry customers, and work as a team with my coworkers.

• As a retail associate, I was able to obtain the knowledge of greeting customers, folding clothes, restocking items, scanning items, persuading customers into buying items, smiling throughout the workday, and cooperating with a good team!

• As a crew member at Wendy’s, I gained the knowledge of cleaning, keeping things organized, restocking items, dealing with all types of customers (whether they are positive or negative), taking orders, and customer service.
