I recognize that some of my medical front desk experience is abroad, however, I would like to point out that I was employed by an internationally recognized plastic and reconstructive surgeon who was based in Tijuana, Mexico, just a few minutes from the US-Mexico border. The patients that I interacted with and assisted were strictly from North America, Europe, and other parts of the globe, which ensured that my work ethic and high professional standards remained a top priority. I am proud of my time there, as it gave me a broader perspective and allowed me to help people from all corners of the world.

In reference to the gaps in employment on my resume, I capitalized on opportunities to travel to gain new experiences and foster personal growth. In addition, this period allowed me to spend my time volunteering for causes that I care for as well as spend valuable time with my family.
