JOB DESCRIPTION - INCOME MAINTENANCE CASEWORKER
  • Income maintenance caseworker (IMCW) determines eligibility for various programs for state regulations. Food stamps include cash assistance (C & S), ADC-General Assistance.
  • Address clients of their rights and responsibilities for assistance. Necessary paper work and policies. Clients in all eligibility decisions. Makes a decision of eligibility. Computes and assesses policy and procedures.
  • Reviewed, and documented according to department policy and procedures. When clients or other sources report changes in circumstances. Reviews all monthly reporting information to determine eligibility factors.
  • Reviews requests for special allowances and authorizes if eligible. Determines and assesses information and determines details for all circumstances. Prepares paperwork for all requirements and documents for eligibility.
