This position plays a vital role in securing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and district grants, including the esteemed English Language (EL) and Title I programs. It is dedicated to empowering EL, Title I, and Career Technical Education teachers to provide exceptional instruction to students who are at risk of falling short of district benchmarks and Wyoming State Content Standards. Through our unwavering commitment, we strive to cultivate an inclusive and supportive environment where every student can thrive and reach their fullest potential.

● Successfully managed and evaluated grants that secured over $25 million in funding for the district, driving impactful initiatives and fostering growth.

● Collaborated with the leadership team to establish a district daycare and preschool program for the 2023-24 academic year.

● Successfully acquired and launched a dynamic three-year literacy initiative, elevating reading and writing skills across all schools in the district.

Collaborate with school administration and district leadership in roles such as data coach, instructional specialist, learning facilitator, school leader, and catalyst for change. Enhance instructional effectiveness by facilitating teacher collaboration, providing individual coaching, planning and assessing professional development programs, leading strategic reform initiatives, and ensuring the consistent implementation of the curriculum.

● Served as Site Coordinator for the K-5 American Reading Company program, which was newly adopted in the 2018-19 school year. Successfully implemented the program during its first year, along with a new reading assessment, the Independent Reading Level Assessment (IRLA).

● Managed and enhanced Milepost, while training users on FASTBridge, MAP, and WY-TOPP for a streamlined and impactful experience.

Provide coaching services to administrators and teachers in districts and schools that received School Improvement Grants. Collaborated with districts to develop a plan to address the required actions identified during the accreditation review. Additionally, conducted workshops on interpreting WAEA reports, implementing standards-based grading, and effectively using data. Worked with schools that needed to submit Restructuring Plans.

● All of the schools I collaborated with had Restructuring Plans approved by the Wyoming State School Board.

● I facilitated engaging workshops for school leaders, empowering them to interpret and harness data effectively in crafting impactful School Improvement Plans with a focus on literacy goals.

Provide inspiring leadership and effective management of the curriculum for career and technical post-secondary instruction. Craft a comprehensive professional development plan, and facilitate engaging monthly training sessions for faculty. Gather and analyze data on student progress through an advanced student management system. Produce insightful monthly reports and strategic action plans aimed at enhancing student achievement and behavior. Furthermore, offer thoughtful advising and counseling to guide students on their educational journeys.

● I successfully led the implementation of a new online instructional platform for students.

● We achieved an 80% placement rate for our Medical Assistant students.

Led and managed the K-12 curriculum and assessment framework. I spearheaded committees that developed impactful school improvement plans and ensured the integrity of assessment implementation. As Director of Title I, Title II, and English Language Learners and Literacy Programs, I championed the use of Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills and AIMSweb Math for screening and progress monitoring.

● Successfully implemented a new literacy program during the academic year 2008-2009.

Launched a startup for the Higher Education Services Office and managed programs above the Associate Degree level. Chaired curriculum and standards committees at the community college, developed online academic curriculum, and managed the learning environment. Served as a liaison between faculty and students as Assistant Director of Continuing Education Programs.
