Responsible for overall management of the School's financial resources with an operating budget of $11M. The DFO position is responsible for providing leadership and oversight of the day-to-day management of business functions, human resources, and physical plant including direct supervision of a staff accountant, AP and payroll manager, and director of facilities. Member of Senior Leadership Team. Collaborated with Head of School and Board of Trustees in developing long-term financial goals, ensuring alignment with overall school objectives.

Oversaw overall management of the School's finances, handling a budget of $22M.

Provided leadership and oversight for the day-to-day management of business functions, human resources, and physical plant. Directly supervised a team of 4 business office staff responsible for AR, AP, PR & benefits, and student services as well as the director of facilities and the director of summer programs.

Prepared annual budget and long-range budget projections to align with school objectives.

Actively participated in meetings with the Leadership Team and Board of Trustees.

Managed bookkeeping responsibilities using Quickbooks for my husband's cruise travel business. Part-time approximately 12 hours per month.

Managed the preparation and filing of yearly business tax returns.
