I enjoy working and helping people. I am very outgoing and show love to everyone I meet. I am dependable and organized.
I became ill in 2007 with a rare autoimmune disease called Myasthenia Gravis. I worked part time during some of these years but my health caused hospitalizations sometimes which affected my jobs.
My body attacked the signals from my brain to my muscles. This made my muscles become weak. I went thru many treatments and procedures to help me. I started a new medication and am in remission now so I am almost completely normal for the last 18 months now.
I can lift 80 pounds (my grandchild weighs this much and can pick him up). Do cooking and cleaning, push wheelchair, etc. I am on social security and decided to help others that are paying outrageous prices for nursing care by paying me a lesser amount which would help both of us financially.
I can give you people to call for references.
Although I do not have a certification as a nurse or certified nursing assistant I currently live in a senior apartment community and I volunteer in helping my neighbors by taking them to appointments, stores, and cleaning their apartments due to monthly inspections
I have sit with family members and friends after surgeries or health issues such as dementia, cancer treatments, etc
I volunteered at church to sit with church members and regularly visited nursing homes and homes of shut ins that were members of our church
I am a very patient, compassionate, and loving person God has gifted me in helping others which has been a life long trait
