Summary

I am a dedicated, empathetic support worker with experience in supporting individuals with disabilities. I have proven ability in daily living assistance, medication management, and community access. I am eager to leverage bilingual communication skills to foster client engagement and promote well-being. Known for empowering clients through skill development and emotional support to enhance overall quality of life.

As a support worker, I have an important role in providing healthcare and emotional support to individuals who need assistance. I would do this by assisting clients with daily activities, helping to create care plans if needed, and by offering personal care to ensure their needs are met. I would also work within community services and support services to promote well-being and independence. I am trained in first aid, and am able to handle emergency situations. I am very trustworthy, and I will quickly develop a trusting relationship with the clients I care for, and hopefully have a positive impact on their lives. Some of the skills that I have are effective communication, open-mindedness, empathy, adaptability, and I am great at working on my own or in a team environment. I am very creative, and I still have a willingness to learn. I am a dependable person who understands that being a support worker is a very important job, as I am working with some of the most vulnerable people in our society, and I do not take this lightly. I will treat every client how I would want someone to treat my child, which is with the utmost respect and care.
