I reorganized the central file accountability log, the pretrial drop file, the SHU rounds sign in logs and the release preparation program, which could have resulted in repeat deficiencies. The implemented procedures produced a "GOOD" program review rating after previously receiving numerous "Acceptable" ratings, which significantly increased morale. I developed and organized a resource day for the female inmate population with community resources to provide services targeted for a local bank which addresses banking information and interview training during our release preparation program and during 3 Mock Job Fairs. I attended re-entry court to evaluate the process and created an A&O handbook for weekend confinement inmates. As the Institution's ACA/PREA Coordinator I facilitated & instructed training on identified PREA standards to enhance Exec Staff & subordinate knowledge. I developed the Institutional Supplement on Sexually Abusive Behavior Prevention and established training materials to inform staff of recent changes in the PREA policies and provided training. I developed guidelines for checks and balances to ensure we stay in compliance rather than get ready to be in compliance. I established a Gratuitous Service Agreement with a local Medical Center to provide outside confidential support services. As ACA/PREA Coordinator I prepared briefings in response to the external auditors concerns regarding Institutional procedures. I chaired the Work Programming committee to ensure PREA standards were addressed. As Staff Mentor Coordinator developed the first formal Staff Mentoring Program and served as a mentor to staff. I prepared national policy with a multidisciplinary work group on Sexually Abusive Behavior Prevention & Intervention Program based on changes in laws and regulations. I prepared Institutional Supplements & rules and regulations to assist with managing the Adam Walsh inmate population. I also managed general population, DC Offenders, Pretrial Studies, Step Down and Habilitation Program inmates to ensure compliance with BOP/local policies, federal laws and statues, probation and parole commission guidelines and court decisions. I chaired and made decisions regarding sanctions imposed to inmates for infractions during UDC hearings. I monitored, evaluated & determined appropriateness of reports, rosters and correspondences relative to the compliance of the Privacy and Freedom of Information Acts. I presented Exec Staff with all pertinent information regarding transfers, medical assignments and sensitive issues. I updated redesignations in Sentry and reviewed the inmate pay performance compliance with notifications to victims. I attended the Department Head meetings to relay information regarding designations, transfers and Institutional population. I conducted the CMC's portion of Institutional A&O for the new inmate population. I conducted program/operational reviews to assess policy compliance. I prepared the RRC Utilization Report for the FCI. I developed and implemented a Release Preparation Program and updated the Institutional Supplement for the FCI & LSCI and provided training on the new supplement. I conducted the Institutional RPP for the inmate population with collaborative efforts from US Probation Office, Local halfway house staff, local banks and the local DMV Office. I coordinated mock job fairs with multiple departments and external agencies to address workforce development and skill development initiatives. I clarified custody and security levels for inmates during program reviews and calmed family members concerns. I have created checklists for routing procedures.
