Sport Deco was a boutique clothing company. The clothes were hand-painted by artists from The Columbus College of Art and Design. My partner was a well known painter who designed the clothing. We began with fleece clothing and evolved into hand-painted denim jackets. We manufactured our own denim jackets with seamless backs for the painting.

I sold the line to local boutiques and then hired sales representatives and established showrooms in major markets. We were also hired by companies such as Pepsi Cola, MGM, and MTV to create special jackets for them. We produced limited edition jackets for Richard Petty, the race car driver, the year he retired. As the jackets were sold at various race tracks, he autographed them and then they were auctioned off.
