Amputee Coalition Of America Acting President

I volunteer at Amputees In Motion.  It is a non profit organization to support amputees, those facing a future amputation, family members of amputees.  I am a Peer Visitor.  I visit with amputees and their friends or family members who may have questions about what to expect after an amputation.  I also answer questions they may have about prosthetic.  I also provide information about various adaptive sports they can participate in such as adaptive golf, adaptive swimming, wheelchair ballroom dancing, wheelchair fencing, adaptive skiing, recumbent bicycling to name a few.  I also refer them to various organizations that provide information for amputees.

Other duties I do for Amputees In Motion I complete and file necessary forms to maintain non profit status, answer and return telephone calls and retrieve the mail then distribute accordingly.
