I have worked at some capacity since I was 11 years old. Growing up in eastern NC, I worked "in tobacco" my summers to buy school clothes. I would often babysit, too. At 15 years old, I had a school bus route while attending cheerleading practice and going to football and basketball games. I traveled with an ensemble, singing in many states. I was inducted into the National Honor Society. I was well-liked in high school and had many friends. After graduation, I went to ECU and majored in early childhood education. In 1979, I married while attending college. In June of 1980, I gave birth to my first child. I stopped attending college and became a stay-at-home mom. From 1982, I held many sales jobs. I rose in ranks and became number one in sales for the Shaklee Corp. I worked as a standardized patient for ECU Medical School for 9 years. I was president of the Greenville Home Schoolers Association. I was very active in my church, leading in worship services. My faith is very important to me. Since COVID-19, I have not attended church regularly.
I love people and I've never met a stranger. I work hard and always strive to be an asset to my employers and fellow employees.
