Started in 1991 as front office manager these duties included checking in patients and verifying insurance, collecting and posting and running end of day reports.
In 1993 I assumed a position in billing. These duties included transmitting all claims to various Insurance providers, collecting payments and posting payments . Working claims and making sure they were filed in a timely manor.
In 1995 I took the position as Office Manager. These duties included hiring and firing employees. Also running all financial reports and posting checks and making deposits. I held this position until the practice was sold in 2015.
In 2016 Dr. Pulliam reopened the practice as M.Michael Pulliam M.D. P.C. I recredentialed provider for all insurance carriers. At this time I hired the employees and set up payroll. performed all previous duties until the practice closed in 2021.
