• Responsible for all Women’s Footwear across the Unite Fleet, creating consumer right assortments and balancing the mix by door of Performance and Lifestyle footwear models.
• Influence Rebuy product line Architecture to drive the Unite Women’s Footwear strategy and vision, leveraging North America specific insights and hindsighting.
• Manages all closeout, liquation and excess inventory across the geo. Shopping weekly lists to ensure we have product for all Unite stores that complement our Rebuy assortments.
• Drive in-season business results managing key KPI’s and adjusting based off business needs. Utilizing the Weekly Business Review Meeting to give a readout of business and what actions to take.
• Create and finalize new store assortments working cross-functionally with allocation partners to ensure the vision comes to life in new Unite stores.
• Partners DSM effectively on forecasting and execution of assortment strategies leading up to the season as well as in-season management.
• Create consumer right assortments across Gradeschool, Preschool, and Toddler sizing for both boys and girls through seasonal rebuys while liquidating closeout models for the Brand.
• Drove the Young Athletes Back to School Initiatives from pre-season planning to in-season execution.
• Actively participates in NFS Merchant, Global NFS, Category, and cross-functional team meetings.
• Onboarded and developed new Associate Merchant
• Develop ongoing strategies to balance inventory levels across Branded YA FW and Jordan YA FW.
• Support development of strategies to maximize business opportunities and mitigate risks in partnership with categorical cross-functional business teams
• Create pre-season and in-season pricing strategies through weekly promotions and monthly markdowns while balancing margin dollars and rate across rebuys and closeout.
• Deliver data-driven insights to Merchandising by supporting category and leadership needs with analytics
• Provide visibility to assortment performance from formation to marketplace
• Drive adoption of GPMA products inside the Merch Community
• Enable meaningful and accurate metrics and attributes in all of the data sources to drive insights to Merch
• Drive integrated, profitable, consumer-relevant product assortments for the category by providing pre-season, in-season, & post-season analysis
• Responsible for validating line framework and sku efficiencies and developing and providing appropriate business analysis to influence future purchases and assortment strategies
• Creates contracts for weekly/quarterly closeout as well as quarterly re-buys for Running, Basketball, and Jordan apparel. Works with Customer Service to ensure all product is ordered correctly and executes changes as necessary to ensure product reserves.
• Sets up re-buy templates ensuring all style numbers, MSRP’s, wholesales, FAC costs, and size scale breakouts are correct prior to ordering. Reconciles Recon sheet from Demand Planning with re-buy template prior to contracting to ensure correct quantities have been requested.
• Creates and executes weekly recaps for Buyers, Allocators, and Planners showing sell thru, weekly sales in dollars and units, and margin to aid in the planning of markdown, promotions and analysis of each category’s business.
• Creates and maintains seasonal re-buy whiteboards showing style, color, factory retail, and unit buy.
• Provides customer service to stores through completion of requests for product look up, pricing, and product set up.
