I am pursuing a Master's in Social Work through LSU (Louisiana State University) and seeking an internship position. I have close to 20 years of professional experience in communications and marketing, interpersonal communication, and writing. I currently co-host a podcast interviewing guests about life transitions and shifts, bridging my experience of writing and media to my interest in mental health and connecting with other's life experiences. I have a passion for learning about psychology, mental health, family and social issues, and understanding and supporting others with curiosity and empathy. I'm greatly looking forward to learning from professionals in a therapy setting and using the knowledge I've gained in my MSW program to begin working in this capacity.
