I have had the privilege of volunteering as an EMT, working on ambulance rides with Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department and providing essential medical care during emergency response calls. In addition to ambulance rides, we also staff monthly community events, such as the Jaguars games, Gate River Run, and concerts. Members meet monthly to attend continuing education meetings where we listen to experts, and run EMS scenarios.
