I was placed at VIR as a temp to perm MA on a 6 month contract. They offered a position.

• Performed administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and filing paperwork.

I assisted Dr Ritzer a Workman's Compensation physician with DOT physicals, injuries and, Drug and Alcohol testing.

I roomed patients on a daily basis, preformed back office work like prior authorizations, assisted with casting, splints and wraps.

• Preformed in clinic testing such as EKG, lab testing including UA, glucose tests.
• Assisted patient flow by answering calls and refilling medications under a Dr's order.

• Called and faxed pharmacies to submit prescriptions and refills.

• Sanitized, restocked and organized exam rooms and medical equipment.
