I love to work hard, and I take pride in my work, and the impressions that I leave. Im also impressed with those that work hard and take pride in what they do. I'm a reliable, and consistent employee, I don't like to take time off, I never miss a shift, and I like to stay with my jobs for a long time, Im currently been at job for almost 6 years now, my last one was 11 years. I do also have a wide range of kitchen experience, and i do enjoy working in the back of the house and making great food, but I like to highlight my front of house work, because that is my preferred position, but I am experienced in cooking as well, and willing to fill many shoes.

  • Performed opening and closing duties for a server, and the bar. I was responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the bar, stocking all beer, wine and liquor, changing kegs, making our craft batches, and preparing many different garnishes.

I also gained a lot of knowledge of wines, we had an extensive wine list. we were very busy and fast paced establishment, and ticket wait times were taken very seriously.
  • I did various types of tableside service for the customer, including making 3 different types of tableside Sangria's, mojito's, flambeing steaks and desserts, made tableside salads and soup preparations, and plated various dinners such as Paella's and Arroz Con Pollo, and others.

  • I provided drinks and food service for the bar customers, and servers. There was a restaurant style bar, with regular service, and a Casino style bar where I made drinks for patrons and cocktail severs, I also had to cook and prepare food at that bar as well.
  • I maintained the cleanliness, stock, and prep. for both bars.
  • At the end of each shift, I was responsible for collecting all server money and cashouts reports, preparing all paperwork, printing end of night reports for all bars and servers, and the locking down the entire establishment at end of night.

  • I was responsible for training all new hires, where I had to host menu classes for all of them, I was also responsible for testing, and grading test of all new hires, which also means sometimes reteaching and retesting.
  • As a bartender, I was responsible for opening the bar by stocking all liquor, prepping batches and garnishes, maintaining stock and cleanliness throughout my shift.
  • This was a very busy bar, with lots of regulars,making sever drinks and taking tables that surround the bar, and I efficiently was able to serve everyone in a good and timely manner while maintaining great repport with all my patrons, staff, and regulars.
