FRONT OFFICE MANAGER DESCRIPTION
- Provide prompt and courteous service: both on the phone and in person. Demonstrate friendliness and proper phone etiquette with every customer
- Make sure customers receive prompt, efficient and courteous attention for all contacts and transactions.
- Make sure all Department employees are thoroughly familiar with procedures for handling all aspects of customer service.
- Resolve any customer complaints in a friendly, courteous manner.
- Develop and train all employees within the Department by company standards and guidelines.
- Monitor accuracy of timecard procedures. Control and monitor overtime, vacations, leaves of absence, sick pay, worker’s compensation cases, holiday pay and other payroll related matters as they occur.
- Prepare and conduct performance appraisals for all Department employees per company policy; maintain all wage and salary guidelines within the Department
- Maintain and promote positive employee relations and morale whenever possible by practicing sound leadership
ACCOUNTING MANAGER DESCRIPTION
- Process auction transactions including vehicle sales, various revenues, funds distribution, incoming checks/wire transfers.
- Assist with floorplan transactions, customer service inquiries, or other duties as needed.
- Work with shops and other departments to determine the best process for revenue
- Assist with income statement preparation at month end including expense/revenue accruals and review of all discrepancies. Review balance sheet account reconciliations monthly to ensure transactions are accurately recorded.
- Assist with all audits and reviews, both internal and external and provide timely information when requested.
- Oversee collections process as well as approved payment terms for customers to keep bad debt and interest expense to a minimum
