I worked in the special needs field for 3 years and also lived with my grandpa who had alzheimer. I would come home from work and assistant my grandpa with assistance in moving from the couch to his bedroom and helping him dress, etc. At work I would help with personal care, like many of them needed help in the bathroom and some wore diapers, so I helped them with many self care areas. I would spend my entire day helping others, and when my grandpa passed away I felt empty. So I decided to enroll myself in a medical assistant program to continue in life helping others.
