My role as a CHE in the clinic was to work closely with clinical staff and community resources to assist patients with current social boundaries. Create connections between vulnerable populations and health care system. Assist patients with enrollment in programs and benefits for which they are eligible for. Care coordination and care transitions for patients.

While at this clinic I established and lead the clinical safety committee.

• Obtained client medical history, medication information, symptoms, and allergies.
• Directed patients to exam rooms, fielded questions, and prepared for physician examinations.
• Performed medical records management, including filing, organizing and scanning documents.

• Efficient with Medicat EMR system which is specifically for college campuses.
• Worked with CCare, an Oregon based grant that gave all students free birth control and GYN care.
• Worked closely with Oregon Health Association to track communicable diseases and treatments for students.

While at Cascade family care I became the clinics man MA Preceptor. 3 year of VFC/Vaccine coordinator. 3 years a clinical safety coordinator leading monthly clinic wide trainings one codes within the clinic.
