Started off as an event staff member for the seasonal annual activities they host. After a few events they moved me from positions and I became a concessions employee. I am hands on it also helps me learn better and quicker. I would cook food, work in the registers, I work well under pressure and I’m a good multitasker.
Here at Norms I worked as a host and cashier. Responsibility was top tier as soon as a customer walked in the door you had to acknowledge accommodating them to their tables, getting them started off with drinks if possible. Norms was my first job actually it motivated me to always perform my best, I definitely had to learn quick here in regards of the different menu options, any specials that day. Communicating with my peers such as the host, servers or, my managers to make sure things were done effectively.
At La Michoacán Delights I worked several positions such as a cashier, or ice cream scooper. Greeting customers as soon and they walked in I believe made the environment more welcoming and made myself seem more friendly. I prepared customers orders, and helped with their transactions. Being able to work under pressure and use your time effectively was very important as well especially during rush hours.
Communication was also helpful we figured out what needed to be restocked, what other tasks had to be done and we were opened to criticism because we knew what to work on to help give out good customer service. Cleanliness was very important to me because not only did it help me work better, but it also caught the customers eye.
