Summary

I have a wonderful husband of 19 years and four children (3 girls and 1 boy). I love crafting in my spare time. I am passionate about diabetes and educating patients so they have the knowledge they need to care for themselves. My oldest daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when she was 6 years old. Since becoming a nurse I been driven more and more to becoming a diabetes educator so that I can spend the time to educate patients with diabetes how to properly care for themselves. I have a lot of experience with the Tandem Tslim insulin pump, OmniPod Dash, OmniPod 5, and the Medtronic insulin pumps. I am also well versed with the Freestyle Libre 2, Dexcom G6 and Dexcom G7 continuous glucose monitors.
