Summary

I was drawn to Children's Ministry (CM) before I was a parent myself. I saw an opportunity to be a part of the spiritual education of my nephews and my friend's children and thought that was something I really wanted to encourage. The more opportunities to grow the programs and meet the ever changing needs of our congregation and community, the more involved I beame. I volunteered at my first VBS in 2009 and was immediately enamored with the entire program. I was the first to sign up for the State Conferences every year and once I began Directing in 2013, I was happy to host the regional clinic when the previous Church was no longer able. I spent several years as the Assistant to our Children's Minister, and several years as the Wednesday Night Coordinator and main teacher for our Children's Church. I worked very closely with our head and associate Pastors, our youth group leaders and all the CM teachers. We had great success in all of our programs.
