  • Duties: Provide technical assistance and professional development to Education Service Center Region 13 clients in the areas of child find, evaluation, special education supports and services, legal compliance, ethics, and other areas of the child-centered education process. Project Management and facilitation of the annual Hill Country Summer Institute. The institute typically serves over 500 participants, from across Texas and offers over 15 sessions.
  • Other essential duties include serving as a representative to the Child Find and Early to Exit IEP Supports Grant Technical Assistance Team, the Legal Framework team, and Child Find Collection SPPI submission team. Other supports provided include facilitating networks for Child Find and Evaluation Leadership, Multilingual Evaluation and Collaboration Network, and ARD Managers, as well as contributing to the Special Education Leadership Network and New Director Cohort. Regional contact for requirements related to state and federal laws, regulations, and rules, and as well as a liaison to other agencies, regional service centers, professional organizations, and universities on issues relating to the evaluation of students and IEP implementation.

  • District Academic Team - Member of the District Academic Team.
