RE: Linette Montoya

Fellow Educator:

It is, indeed, an honor and privilege to write a letter of recommendation for Linette Montoya.

Linette has a creative strength that expands to include all students. There is no student who is not included in her classroom. She has amazing classroom management, and her lesson plans are interactive, stimulating, and enfolding. Linette attends to detail and makes certain that all students understand what is presented and how to achieve success in their studies and assignments.

Linette is a team-player. She is punctual and attentive to meetings, including complete staff meetings, professional development sessions, team meetings and parent meetings. Linette makes sure that everyone is included in functions that happen throughout the school.

As examples: one year Linette designed and ordered Dr. Seuss T-shirts for the entire staff to wear on “Read Across America” day. Throughout the years, Linette used her artistic abilities to design school T-shirts for the staff to wear on special days. These artistic abilities lead to many creative adventures with her students in their writing. I don’t know of any other teacher, who uses a mannequins dressed in current clothing, holding cue cards for the students to learn from. This “gentleman” is a part of the student’s learning, especially those who need lots of visual cues.

Linette’s ability to relate to her student’s is her absolute best teaching strategy. Linette has the capability to establish great communication skills with all her students. She develops a teaching friendship with all students that promotes respect to not only adults, but also students and their peers.

Linette would make a wonderful addition to your teaching staff. She is capable, punctual, creative, enthused, and attentive to details in making her lessons interesting, captivating and learning. I can be reached at: bl4usa@msn.com or by phone: 719-659-1339

Respectfully submitted,

To Whom It May Concern:

I am honored to write this letter of recommendation for Lynette Montoya, an extraordinary English Language Arts teacher who has been an invaluable member of our middle school faculty at Chavez Huerta K12 Preparatory (CHPA), specifically Ersilia Cruz Middle School. I have had the privilege of working closely with Mrs. Montoya for the past school year, and I can say without hesitation that she is one of the most effective, compassionate, and inspiring educators I’ve encountered in my career.

What sets Mrs. Montoya apart is her remarkable ability to build meaningful relationships with all students—especially those who struggle with behavior or engagement. While many educators may shy away from students with challenging behavior, Lynette welcomes them with open arms, patience, and a steady belief in their potential. Her classroom is a safe haven where students feel seen, heard, and valued. As a result, even our most reluctant learners thrive under her guidance.

In the classroom, Mrs. Montoya blends high academic expectations with creativity and empathy. Her lessons are dynamic, culturally responsive, and deeply rooted in best practices for language development. Whether students are learning the nuances of figurative language, writing persuasive essays, or engaging in spirited class discussions, they are consistently supported and challenged.

Beyond instruction, Mrs. Montoya is a collaborative and reflective professional who contributes positively to our school culture. She is a trusted colleague, a mentor to new teachers, and an advocate for equity and student voice. Her leadership, both formal and informal, has had a lasting impact on our staff and student body.

I wholeheartedly recommend Lynette Montoya for any educational position where passion, skill, and heart are required. They will undoubtedly be an asset to any school community fortunate enough to have them.

Please feel free to contact me at Nicolenomychaas@gmail.com or (719) 313-1962 if you would like to discuss Lynette further.

Sincerely,

Nicole Minniss
