GOLD PACT Receipient at UT Southwestern Center

During the challenging period of Covid, UT Southwestern faced a shortage of nurses in the hospital. I volunteered to help with patient check-in and check-out at the hospital and at several vaccination sites. My shifts were from 7 pm to 7 am, seven days a week. Additionally, I returned to my role as a dental hygienist to assist the Oral Surgery Department at UT Southwestern because of the staffing shortage.
