Support and guide the techs with quality calls and job responsibilities
Work closely with the Lamination lines, as well as, the finishing lines to make sure the product is in spec. Check for delamination, visual defects, thickness, gloss, lacquer weights, trim, construction of the product. Hourly audits for the lines temp settings, pressure, and speed. If problems arise, then have the line scrap or shut line down until problem is resolved.
Trained in the lab: doing initial and final testing on thickness, curl, dementional stability, construction measurements. Wear layer, weights, and indentation. Final testing: dementional stability and final curl.
Trained on the finishing line as well: making sure final product is in spec and up to standard. Mocking flooring up to check for gaps, ledging, squareness, chips, blisters, delamination, length, width. Check that box and labels are correct. Quantity and quality of overall product.
