I then moved to the classroom to teach tier-one instruction, serving kindergarten and first grade.
I worked as the Dean of Academic Outcomes while completing my master's degree in Educational Leadership. This experience gave me valuable job training as an assistant principal.
I served as an instructional coach at Palm Elementary in Lorain. While there, I acted as a mentor, working with teachers to improve their effectiveness so they could raise their students' achievement levels.
While serving Wake County Public Schools, I taught kindergarten and second grade. In second grade, I was honored as Teacher of the Year and was among the top ten teachers in the district.
