While employed at Woodstock Sterile Solutions I have held a variety of positions. I started out on the production floor inspecting units and packaging them for our customers. I transitioned into grinder. In this position I retrieved flash from the lines and put it into a grinder to cut it up. I had a fork lift license at the time and helped the material handlers bring materials to the line for setup on Sunday for Monday start ups. I then learned blending which is combining virgin and colored resin together in the required amounts using the blending machine and water regeneration which required you to follow a list of when to turn the knobs and when to add acid. The company got new water regeneration equipment and I became a line leader. I helped set up labelers and other equipment for the line. I verified correct lot # and expiration dates. I filled out paperwork required for each run. I ran the line with crew member's help and fixed minor taper, labeler, equipment problems. I oversaw my crew to insure they knew how to pack specific to that line. Finally, I landed in Quality. I have been both a Quality Specialist and a PTA. I have issued paperwork,performed tests and released batches, performed fill tests, and quality checks on the line at a frequency outlined in my paperwork, perform testing for R&D runs, and Validation.
