With over 30 years of experience, a highly effective and enthusiastic teacher excelling at creating a positive classroom culture that motivates students to set and achieve their goals. Recognized as one of the top 5 teachers at Horizon Middle School, with a proven track record of building relationships and improving self-esteem through innovative approaches. Successfully led the first peer-to-peer Physical Education program in the state for 8 years, fostering collaboration and teamwork among students. Extensive experience in curriculum and lesson design, program creation, and standards assessment, allowing for adaptations and modifications for students with IEPs, 504s, and emotional dysregulation. Additionally, dedicated 8 years to ministry in Youth and Family Catechesis, developing innovative programming to build a vibrant Catholic community. As the Manager of the Marauder's Activities Committee, the Rec Crew, and all 50 Student Organizations at the University of Mary, created hospitable programs that help students encounter God, themselves, their neighbor, and the world.
