Work as needed performing CT scans on out patients, in patients and emergency room patients.

• Supervise personal- select, terminate, train, educate, correct deficiencies, perform evaluations, issue disciplines, counsel and encourage teamwork among staff technologist
• Supervise a busy multi-scanner department with out patients, in patients, and emergency room patients
• Work daily to schedule work assignments to ensure proper distribution of work, adequate staffing, and resources for performance of duties
• Operate a variety of CT equipment including GE VCT, GE Lightspeed, Siemens Somatom, Drive scanner, and Med-Rad power injector
• Perform tasks in the following computer systems daily Cerner, PACS, and FINO
• Operate I-Stat machine to obtain patients Creatinine level
• Effectively perform CT scans of the head, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities with all phases of IV contrast enhancement as well as without and delay phases as ordered by physicians
• Administer oral or rectal contrast if ordered by physician
• Effectively perform Cardiac imaging, calcium scoring, and 3D image post processing
• Prepare supplies, assist radiologist, and operate CT scanner during Biopsies, Drainages, and aspiration procedures
• Obtain patients history, explain standard procedure and address patients concerns prior to patients CT scan
• Perform Daily QA/QC for proper equipment calibration
• Work independently or in a team to assure all patient exams are performed and meet or exceed expected quality standard in an informed, friendly, and timely manner
• Clean, stock, and maintain the department throughout each shift.
