• Au pairs are coming from all over the world to the US under a J1 visa to stay with an American family for a year and provide childcare in exchange of room and board. Their ages are from 18 to 26 years old .
• Providing Year around - support and guidance to the host families and their au pairs.
• Conducting Home visits, ensure the host families are setup for a successful year with the au pair and has clear expectations and the right spirit for the program
• Coordinating monthly meetings / activities for the au pairs.
• Creating social event related to American Culture, like pumpkin carving, fire pit and marshmallows, ice skating and hot chocolate, local sports event etc.
• Providing emotionally and physically support to the au pairs.
• Educating the young adults to grow in their journey as an au pair. Coaching them in to become a good role model for the host children
• Practicing Spanish and learning a few words like thank you and hello in other languages.

SWEA : Swedish Women, Association and Education, San Francisco, an organization with over 6,000 Swedish-speaking women in more than 70 chapters in over 30 countries.
SWEA is the largest non-profit organization outside Sweden, promoting the Swedish language, culture, and traditions.

• 2009 - still active , Member at SWEA, a Swedish community
• 2010 -2014 led and organized SWEA's Mom and kids group. Created meet up for the Swedish moms and kids in the Bay Area. Cultivating the Swedish language and culture.
• 2012-2024 Vice president, at SWEA, planning and hosting cultural events to spread the Swedish language and culture.
• 2018 - 2022 President for SWEA's Christmas Fair

• The Swedish Christmas Fair is taking place in San Francisco first Saturday in December every year. It has been running for 40 years and has about 2500 guests. The Fair includes also about 200 volunteers and 100 performers.
• As one of the two presidents for the Christmas Fair, in charge of the year around planning for the one time event in December.
• Managed a budget of $100,000 with a profit around $ 30,000.
• Hired volunteers and oversaw their purchases. Managed the venue , decorated, set up and disassemble. Facilitated the delivery of food, products and cared heavy boxes and braked down boxes.
• Established and maintained vendors and strategic partners.
• Coordinated the performers.
• Enhanced the prepaid system and enhanced the popular performance venue to accommodate all the 2500 guests.
• During the pandemic years 2020, 2021, with restrictions and limited possibilities we were still able to carried through the popular Swedish Christmas fair with some adjustments.

Both my two boys are born in Sweden, 2004 and 2008.

Been very present in their upbringing and involved at their schools.

• 2009 - 2016 room parent, organizing parties and activities and in charge of fundraising for end of the year parties.

• Conducted home visits to assigned clients.
• Assessed client's level of care and provide guidance towards meeting treatment goals.

• Maintained a clean and safe environment for patients , age of 1 to 16 years old , diagnosed with Rheumatic Artois to promote healing and recovery.

• Collaborated with the healthcare team members, setting up the daily routines for the patients, running scan and tests, wound dressing changes, providing meals, physical therapy,
• Practicing effective communication and empathetic listening skill for the patient's needs to make them feel comfortable in their vulnerable situation. Ensured we had a good workflow and quality care.

• Provided activities like boardgames, arts and crafts and movie nights, to comforting the patients and make them feel less vulnerable and stressful before a surgery or treatment.

• Provided fulltime childcare to four adorable children, 1, 5, 7 and 10 years old
• Assisted with housework such as, tidy up the children's room, laundry and cooking.
• Enhanced cultural exchange experiences by sharing customs, traditions, and native language with host family members.
• Transported children safely to school, activities and appointments on time.
• Learned to speak Spanish fluently
