It is my goal to secure a full-time position in an office environment where my skills in assessing patients and providing patient care will be utilized. I bring extensive experience in office management, operations, billing and customer service. I am hardworking and reliable. Teaching an ABE class, I work very closely with the disabled clients. Helping them with their needs, teaching writing, reading and math. Screening Clients. Writing support plans, daily goals and quarterly goals. Working alongside of the executive director maintaining all aspects of office functions.
Screen new admits to DOC for mental health service, refer inmates appropriately. Set appointments and maintain follow-ups. Work cooperatively in a team environment with staff at current institution as well as staff from other DOC institutions. Do admits for outside MH hospital including CSU admits. Keep weekly and monthly logs, answer phones, billing, attend training sessions as directed by Supervisor, preparing all paperwork and charts for MH counselor, psychiatrist and psychologist, providing daily work schedule for the MH Dept. Work with pharmacy to ensure adequate medication verification and refills. Participate in weekly treatment team meetings and conference calls.
Federal Insurance billing and all aspects of a general office position. Plan and organize agendas for clients and board meetings for LARC. Also to include membership updates and budgets. Account payable and deposits.
Handling all aspects of a medical office, including medical billing, patient interaction, referrals, lab recommendations, processing A/R and A/P.
