Strategic Leadership and Vision

• Develop and implement leadership strategies at the Jewish Federation, through the Community Leadership Institute, a college financial aid and leadership fellowship and Teen Microgrant programs; serving young adults, college students, teens and robust alumni networks. Create and manage a $1.4 million departmental budget.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead and mentor a team of 5 staff members across various roles, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Build mentoring program with 42 mentors; ability to work closely with high-level stakeholders.

Evaluation and Reporting Skills:

• Extensive experience in overseeing evaluation, data collection, and reporting for funding requirements showing ability to use data to drive program success.

Program & Partnership Development and Management:

• Pivotal in building partnerships with 35 organizations, speakers, and educators to create programs for diverse audiences
• Manage/oversee the community-wide, multi-pronged LA Jewish Teen Initiative, implementing programs that evolve and grow with strength and intention. Oversee design/implementation/evaluation of 11 programs serving Los Angeles Jewish community

Leadership

• Recruit, hire, train, manage, and conduct performance reviews for team of four. • Oversee $2M budget for staffing, programming expenses, marketing, and professional development. • Create RFP, recruit applicants, and manage applications for grant funding to 10-15 organizations.
• Work collaboratively to scale local programs to a national level.

• Developed high-performing teams by providing mentorship, guidance, and opportunities for professional growth.
• Oversaw evaluation, data collection, and reporting processes for funding requirements.
• Developed/maintained relationships with funders/executive team to ensure successful outcomes. Partnered with 35 organizations, speakers, and educators that supported the creation of original programs for diverse audiences including parents of teens, youth professionals, and teens.

Served as the manager of program recruitment, implementation, and logistics of an 18-month Fellowship, JECELI (Jewish Early Childhood Education Leadership Institute).

• Identified cohort applicants/mentors, and conducted site visits.

• Collaborated on all seminar planning, creating arc of learning and sourcing speakers. • Nurtured growth of aspiring/early career early childhood directors and supervised four program mentors.

Coached early childhood teachers and directors toward quality improvements in the classroom. • Conducted site visits at six centers and identified areas of opportunity.

• Worked with site leadership to formulate and implemented a strategic work plan and self-evaluations that aligned with Quality Stars NY Improvement Ratings.

• Reviewed/rated applications to select candidates for the NYC Pre-K Teacher Preparation Project.
