Our implementation was so successful it was made into a poster presentation and that was also published in the Journal of Emergency Nursing
2018- Process improvement to decrease throughput times for ICU patients
UNPC worked with ICU leaders to implement process for ICU to pick up their patients in the ER
This allowed for safer bedside report and freed up ER staff to continue taking care of patients instead of leaving the ED for extended periods of time since the ICU is so far from the ED

2018- Lead ANM for Implementation of New 7 bed Pediatric ER, created care protocols with partnership from leaders from Arnold Palmer Hospital
Created Par for supplies, staffing guidelines, hiring and training of new staff
Member of Pediatric Quality committee, monthly reviewing outcomes and processes for the pediatric emergency population
Provided Code Pink education to entire hospital making sure all exits identified and marked, staff educated on who was to respond to the exits if a Code Pink was called
Worked with Sherriff’s Office, Incident Command to do yearly mock codes to make sure hospital staff is competent with this policy
2017- Taught “Magic of Customer Relations” along with unit educator Implemented call backs for all our fast track patients

2017- involved in process improvement to decrease door to doctor time
Rapid cycle tests over a few weeks to trial ideas of all staff involved and created new area called Rapid Assessment
Door to doctor time went from over 180 minutes to 20 minutes
Dedicated staff to this area was hired after interviewed
Staff satisfaction there was optimal as there was not one call in of the staff there for 6 months
This new process brought our LWT rate from 4% to less than .2% after implementation

Rothrock in development of new Sepsis guidelines with implementation of new BOMBARD sepsis screening to decrease Sepsis mortality
2015- implementation of tele-psyche using consultation over television to decrease length of time in the dept for our psychiatric population
2014- Provided detailed education to all staff during EBOLA crisis, providing classes over a period of a few weeks to teach staff to doff and don protective suits to prepare for influx of possible EBOLA patients
2014- process improvement to decrease urine collection times
