Maternal, Newborn and Pediatric Regional Team Manager - January 2016- December 2023

• Manages the units' day to day clinical operations including practice standards, staffing, payroll, fiscal management, processing referrals, coding and quality improvement. Ensures highest quality of care is provided and complies with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and establishes action plans to improve staff development.
• Supervisor of MSW.
• Lactation consults as needed in home setting and over the phone.
• Monitors the allocation and utilization of personnel based on continual changes in patient population/needs.
• Supervises the daily unit operations, including human resource management, department and employee safety programs, and risk management.
• Works with health care providers in the hospital, community and divert sources achieve optimal patient care across the continuum.

• Lactation consult and breastfeeding support in home setting.
• Conduct thorough maternal, newborn and pediatric assessments in the home setting.
• Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms and process to develop personalized care plans to address unique needs of each patient.
• Provide expert nursing care, including bilirubin labs draws, enteral device management, postpartum/pediatric/newborn education, breastfeeding support and medication administration.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, therapist and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, interventions and outcomes.

• Clinically proficient in all areas of labor and deliver, postpartum, antepartum, operating room, scrub and circulating triage, well baby nurser, and special care nursery.
• Clinical experience in recovery and care of medical/surgical patients.
