My husband and I own and operate Mohr Honey, which is an Apiary here in the Aberdeen area. We have been keeping bees since 2016, and it is finally growing into a profitable little side hustle. Last year we produced 1400 gallons of honey, with 120 hives. We treat our hives for pests, as well as maintain all of the equipment, that goes into each hive.

Processed packages from customers who would bring them in to ship. Also helped with the night sort, which consisted of unloading all of the trucks as they came in from their routes. Sorting all of the letters to the correct destination bins, and splitting off any of the AIR packages to get them loaded on to another truck which would take them out to the air port. I would help load the semi with the days freight, stacking packages as tightly as possible to insure every last one from that day would fit. Huge game of Jenga. Fill out any Hazard paperwork that was necessary. Do final close out on the till at the end of the night.
Produced masks of all types on an assembly line using different automated machines for each part of the process. Always made my daily goal for masks built, packed and shipped for each shift.
Operated various different automated machines, to create various grits of sand paper. Would produce and pack all products, to prepare them for shipment.
Used various power tools to put together storm door assemblies. Also used mechanical saws to cut the raw material in preparation for final assembly.
Helped with the clerk duties, as well as unloading the trucks upon arrival from the day's pickups. Sorted packages according to destination by the zip codes. Filled out hazardous paperwork for all hazardous packages. I was also a first responder and SCUBA trained. Washed all the trucks after the sort was over, as well as checked all the oil levels, toping them off if needed. Loaded the semi trailer with outgoing packages. Helped as a driver helper during the Christmas rush. Scanned packages to be delivered, organized the truck for the next stop.
Ran and organized the Summer Rec program for the City of Columbia for the Summers of 91, 92, and 93. Organized activities for the kids each day, also helped out with the baseball and softball teams. Was responsible for washing and waxing the 2 fire trucks our town had. Trimming trees, using a weed eater. Picking up trash, raking up leaves. Basic lawn care.
