School nurse responsible for the health and safety of special needs students ages 3-21. This includes nebulizer treatments, tube feedings, preparation of and giving medications, assisting with diaper changes, and teaching health classes for the students.

Responsible for overseeing 7 nurses and 13 centers. Assisting in the centers as necessary with children from 6 weeks up to kindergarten age. Making sure that the centers were safe. Communicating with parents/guardians as necessary. Working with other administrators to ensure that the centers were run efficiently. Reporting suspected child abuse to Children’s Services as needed. Preparation of and teaching required information to other staff members.
