Mentored new educators, contributing to their growth and effectiveness, while coordinating impactful school events that strengthened community involvement.
I am a professional educator with comprehensive experience in curriculum development and classroom management. Known for ability to inspire students and foster collaborative learning environments. Adaptable and reliable team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
I have received the family partnership award in 2019,2021 and 2024 as well as the Bright Way to Work award in 2021. I was nominated for these awards by families and fellow teachers and then the leadership team awarded them based on the amount of nominations in our region.
I was also part of a program called the Bright Journey academy where I would train and guide newly hired teachers for other centers in our division. They would spend two weeks with me learning about classroom management, how to log kids in and out on the tablet at drop off and pickup as well as head counts throughout the day. I taught the new teachers about documentation and creating portfolios to track the children's progress throughout the year.
Each year in the company we have what is called The Awards of Excellence. This is where families as well as other educators in or at other centers are encouraged to nominate a teacher or co-worker they feel deserves the award in a certain area. There are multiple awards in different categories such as the family partnership award, rising star, bright way to work, the Janice Hill award and a few others. Once a year all the centers from each region and division come together to have an awards ceremony and celebration.
